Ongoing Project for Curvepoint Paid Research Project

EXTRAS NEEDED FOR CURVEPOINT RESEARCH PROJECT!  A security software company seeks extras for a project used to develop new software that will distinguish people from objects in active shooter situations in schools. Curvepoint is working with Carnegie Mellon University on this important project.

Rate is $100 for 4 hrs.

Shifts available 7 days/per week, mornings, afternoons and evenings. 

We would only need you for one shift for one day.  If you work in Pittsburgh or Bridgeville,

you can work again at the Greensburg location!

All must be local to the area and have a car to get to set.

We need people of all shapes and sizes ages 18+.  It is important that you give your real height and weight when you sign up so that the client can make sure that all sizes are represented in their research.

The clients will be recreating different scenarios within a room in a high school.  These scenarios will be recorded, but those recordings are strictly for internal company use only and will not be redistributed in any fashion.

JOB DESCRIPTION:: You will walk back and forth (about 5 feet) in a doorway, carrying various items both in bags and on your person for roughly 4 hours straight with small breaks every hour. You need a charged smartphone to view the day's schedule and know which prop to hold. 

PLEASE BE AWARE THAT THIS TASK IS VERY MUNDANE and is NOT a typical extra filming scenario as for Film and Television.  There is no other requirement other than being able to stand and walk for 4 hours. Also please note we use unloaded airsoft guns as props; you must be comfortable working with them (Client has cleared this with the school ahead of time).
